I cut out the pattern pieces for my Eight frock coat today, and MAN am I going to need to do some serious muslining before I even think of touching my velvet. I have small shoulders, even for a chick, and the shoulder seam currently will sit about 2.5 inches below where Iapos;m comfortable having a shoulder seam. Thereapos;s also my vertical challenged-ness to take into consideration. Oh, dear.
